About

Flaky tau sar piah, mooncakes in season, and the sort of biscuits that used to come in a tin at Chinese New Year. We laminate the pastry by hand — thirty-odd layers — and cook our own fillings from whole beans and lotus seed. Nothing bought in.

Shop policies & FAQ

Delivery & collection

Collection from Bishan free. Islandwide delivery $7, free above $70. Mooncake season deliveries book out — order early.

Returns & refunds

Everything is made fresh to order, so we can't take returns on food. If something arrives damaged or wrong, message us the same day with a photo and we'll remake it or refund you in full.

Opening hours & replies

We bake Tue–Sat. Two days' notice on everything, a week during mooncake season.

How long do the pastries keep?

Tau sar piah and biscuits keep 10 days sealed. Mooncakes keep 3 weeks unopened; once cut, refrigerate and eat within 3 days.

Are the fillings made in-house?

All of them. We cook mung bean, red bean and lotus paste from raw, which is why they taste less sweet than shop-bought.

Do you make less-sweet versions?

The lotus paste already runs about 30% less sugar than commercial paste. We can go lower on custom orders.

Do you sell mooncakes year-round?

No — six weeks before Mid-Autumn only.
