Wheel-thrown stoneware, glazed in small kiln loads
A one-person studio near Sixth Avenue. Everything is thrown on the wheel, trimmed by hand and fired twice to 1240°C, so it's properly vitrified — dishwasher and microwave safe, not decorative. Glazes are mixed in-house, which is why the colours shift a little from load to load.

Delivery & collection
Wrapped in paper and boxed. $8 islandwide, free above $120. Collection from Sixth Avenue by appointment.
Returns & refunds
14 days for a refund on anything unused and undamaged. If a piece arrives broken, photograph it in the box and we'll remake or refund it.
Sizing & fit
Every listing gives height and volume. Pieces vary by 3–5mm and no two glazes come out identical — that's the nature of the material, not a fault.
Opening hours & replies
The studio runs Tue–Sat. Kiln loads go out every two to three weeks, so allow a little time.
Is it dishwasher safe?
Yes. Everything is fired to 1240°C and fully vitrified. Avoid thermal shock — don't take a piece from the fridge into a hot oven.
Why don't two pieces match exactly?
They're thrown by hand and glazed in small loads. Colour and size vary slightly between firings, and pieces bought months apart will differ more.
Can I commission a set?
Yes — six pieces and up. It takes about six weeks including firing.
Is the glaze food safe?
All of them. No lead, no barium, and every glaze is tested on a full firing cycle before it goes on tableware.
