Where the answers come from
An assistant is only worth switching on if you know what it is reading. This is the shelf: the wordings, summaries and brochures behind the plans you actually advise on, filed by you. Every answer a client gets is quoted from something on it, with the document and the edition attached — and where a plan is missing the figures a client tends to ask for, the shelf says so rather than letting the assistant improvise.
The plans you advise on, grouped the way cover is grouped, each one carrying the code your register matches on and how many passages sit behind it. A wording at Version 2.8 says so; one where nobody recorded an edition says that instead, and the difference travels with every answer quoted from it. The screen also names its own gap — the plans missing figures a client may ask you for — because a library that only ever reported itself complete is one nobody opens twice.
Where it stopsIt states no figure that is not written in a document on this shelf, and with nothing filed it answers nothing rather than reaching for something general. A client's own policy schedule is filed here too and is fenced: it may be quoted only to the client it belongs to, and only after that client has verified themselves. Nothing here is a recommendation — a wording says what a plan does, and what to do about it is yours.
