The whole argument, drawn · Singapore

Three weeks to get the case. Five years on your own after it.

They have your number for the whole of it — a renewal, a child, a claim with a deadline running inside it — and not one tool you run is still watching. Everything that happens to your client from the next month onwards is yours to catch, with nothing still running.

What catches it — and nothing above still can

Four kinds of software, all finished in about three weeks. Everything below the line is the client’s own life carrying on — and each one of those moments is either a policy that stops fitting, a claim with a deadline in it, or a referral. The mint row is the only thing in this picture still awake for them.

The part nobody budgets for

You are not disorganised. Your client list is bigger than your week.

The adviser time-use figures are from Kitces Research and describe advisers in the United States, not Singapore representatives — we quote them for the shape of the working week, and make no claim about how many hours this saves anyone. Industry figures are the Life Insurance Association, Singapore’s published full-year 2025 results. Claim windows vary by insurer, plan and panel status, and the policy wording governs.

Why the gap has never been filled

Seven free tools. None of them has read the others.

Your stack is not expensive — nearly all of it is free. It is scattered. Nothing you run can answer a question that needs two of them at once, because no two of them have ever met.

What you run today — seven places

Every one of these is about the same client, in the same fortnight.

So the morning list can say what none of the seven could: renews 3 Sep · no critical illness on record · household of four, one of them new.

Seven places, one client, one fortnight — and the dashed stubs are wires that have never existed between them. The record holds nothing that was not already theirs; only the joins. That is the whole product, and it is the one claim a lead tool, a booking link or a charting tool cannot answer back.

Decentralised is the real cost, not the price

A booking link does not know your clients. A spreadsheet does not know the thread. A transcription tool does not know the policy. You are the wire between all seven, and you are the only one who can be.

A contact list does not tell you who to call

Every name arrives with the reason it is there: a policy lapsing, a child turning 21, something they mentioned in a thread six weeks ago. Never a score, and never a dollar figure against somebody’s name.

Nothing moves

The number your clients already message stays yours and stays on your own phone. A thread is matched to the person on your register as it arrives, and what you type yourself lands on their page too — once your number is cleared.

Referral is the only lawful lead source here

So the openings board hands you an introduction through somebody who already knows them — never a phone number to dial.

The objection, answered before it is asked

It answers from your facts, or from an official source. There is no third door.

You decide what it is allowed to say. It quotes a document you uploaded and approved, or it quotes the body that published the figure and links their own page. Anything that would need a third source is not answered at all — it comes to you.

Two doors in, one door shut. A recommendation, a coverage decision or a claim outcome stops at the same gate, whatever it was drawn from.

Silence is recoverable. A sentence in your name is not.

You curate the facts it may use

Nothing is in there until you put it there. You upload the product summaries, you approve them, and that is the whole of what it can quote about a plan.

Where a cost figure comes from

The Ministry of Health, the Department of Statistics, the Ministry of Manpower and the CPF Board publish those figures. We quote them and link their own page, in their own rounding. We are not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any of them.

And your name is the only one on it

Your own address, your MAS/FA representative number linked to the public register, your agency. Nothing a client of yours ever sees says Selza.
